PIERRE PUGET graduated from the IAD Film School in Belgium in 2006 and worked as a broadcast TV director in Brussels for ten years. There, he developed the Sci-Fi series INVISIBLE for RTBF (Belgian public network).

In 2015-16, he participated in the Serial Eyes international writing program in Berlin, Europe’s premier postgraduate training programme for television writers and producers.

Pierre has sold many series projects and participated in writers’ rooms all over Europe, in English or French, working for companies such as TV60 (Munich), Iconoclast (Berlin), Federation, Haut et Court, Same Player, Chabraque, 24-25 films, or Lincoln TV (Paris). Pierre twice received the grant for international development from the French CNC.

In 2020-22, Pierre joined the Netflix mystery series 1899 team as the French language on-set consultant and translator.

He is currently co-creating the Hungarian-Belgian crime drama BLUEBEARD’S DAUGHTERS with Béla Bagota and Judit Banhazi.

In 2023, Pierre co-founded BRAINS, his development company.

Pierre also teaches TV series writing at the METFilm School in Berlin, Université Côte d’Azur, and the Paris screenwriters association Séquences7. He founded the writers association SEAN (Serial Eyes Alumni Network) and hosts the EURO PUDDING podcast about TV writing in Europe.

Pierre loves entertaining stories that can explore the exciting secret parts of our world. He enjoys brainstorming, writing in collaboration and watching the story monsters take shape in the room.
